Fashion Show at Galeries La Fayette department store

Friday 25th September AT 3 p.m.

What better way to experience something truly special in Paris, than to attend a Galeries Lafayette fashion show and discover the latest trends from the biggest designers as well as the season’s must-haves.

La Villette Walking Tour

Thursday 24th and Friday 25th September from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Parc de la Villette is a super-modern and super-innovative park built by Bernard Tschumi. Located on ancient slaughterhouses.

Your visit will start by visiting butchers. Then, you will see the Monster, the Argonaute, the “Folies”, the bamboo groves, and so many other curiosities which makes this parc so unique. At last you will understand the many architectural and biological meanings of the park.

Musée Fragonard

Thursday 24th September at 3 p.m. and Friday 25th September at 10 a.m.

The Musée du Parfum provides a novel and informative journey through all the production stages of perfume: a legendary luxury that is part of our daily lives.

The first part of the museum reveals all the secrets of production: raw materials, harvesting, extraction, distillation, formulation, bottling and the creative process. Another section contains a remarkable collection of 300 antique bottles and perfumery-related as art objects, retracing the history of perfume from Ancient Egypt to the 20th century.

Palais Galliera : Coco Chanel Exhibition

Saturday 26th September at 10 a.m.

The Palais Galliera has just reopened after more than two years of renovation, funded by Maison Chanel.

To mark this event, the museum is organizing the first Parisian retrospective dedicated to one of the greatest symbols of fashion: Coco Chanel.

The exhibition, called Gabrielle Chanel, a fashion manifesto, is in place from spring to summer 2020.

The exhibition highlights the greatest creations of the seamstress, such as the jersey models, the famous tailor of the 1950s and his iconic dresses. The museum shows as well a selection of jewelry, accessories and perfumes which are recreating Chanel's vision of fashion and haute couture.
